Meet The Owner
My name is Ben, thank you for taking the time to learn about First Due Window Cleaning. A little about me: I am a father to a wonderful baby boy, a husband to an amazing mother and wife, and a full time firefighter for the city of Manhattan. My wife, Jorjean, and I met while she was in the military studying Korean as an ARMY linguist and stationed in Monterey, CA. This is where I started my first job after college as an agricultural consultant to vegetable growers across the Pacific coast. We moved in together, got married, and thought we had it all figured out. God had greater plans for us though, and he brought us to the Midwest and blessed us with a home and our first son, Luca. I took this blessing as a sign that the future was open, and life is too short to dream, so I should just do. I joined the fire department when we arrived to Manhattan, and the rest is history. I love this town and I love it's welcoming community.
I started First Due Window Cleaning as a side business to give my lovely wife the opportunity to stay home with our infant son, Luca. It's been a blessing ever since. Soon after gaining our first customers, it was no longer about business but about people.
When someone lets you into their home and trust you to do a quality job, you take it very personally and you form a relationship with your clients. As a homeowner and business owner I know first hand that what you value, somebody else may not; this is why I choose to focus on quality over quantity. Not only is there a sense of pride in the art of window cleaning, but there's the great feeling of helping someone bring their property to it's full potential. A happy customer and new found friendship, what could be better?
My promise to deliver quality results is not an empty one, because I know that nothing beats a hard day's work, there's no cutting corners, no way around an obstacle but through it, and I love that about this business. The work is clear for all to see, and I welcome any challenging project that comes my way--there's always something new to learn!
